Jeremy has been at the forefront of the venture capital industry for 25 years. He held the esteemed position of Managing Director and Co-Head of the Tech Investment Group at GIC, the sovereign wealth fund of Singapore, for an impressive 17-year tenure.He built GIC’s global venture program, investing in renowned companies such as Alibaba, Byte Dance, Doordash, Coinbase, and Airbnb, among many others.

Jeremy founded the Bridge Forum, the premier platform connecting innovative startup with strategics in emerging economies.  He served as an advisor to the Singapore government on entrepreneurship and innovation.  Based in San Francisco, you will more likely find him on an airplane flying to meet a founder or catching one last Grateful Dead concert.

    Judy Yuan is a distinguished legal and compliance expert with a wealth of experience in the finance and investment sectors. As the Deputy General Counsel at Altimeter, she contributed her extensive legal acumen to navigate the complexities of the ever-evolving venture landscape.

    As Senior Vice President at Silver Lake, Judy focused on complex compliance issues and large-cap investments across the globe, while her role as Vice President at BlackRock saw her spearhead private investments for major international institutional clients. As an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis, she specialized in M&A, special situations, and private equity. Judy started her career as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Based, but rarely, in San Francisco, Judy can be found visiting World Heritage Sites and obsessing over the latest Pulitzer.

    Sylvester is a seasoned investor in private equity, venture capital, and a veteran founder. He was a key player in the venture capital and private equity group at GIC where he invested in 14 companies across industries like Technology, Financial Services, and Consumer.

    He was the Founder and CEO of ChrysCard, a fintech company focused on financial inclusion within the U.S. He successfully raised venture capital and worked alongside strategic partners like banks, processors, and payment networks.

    Currently based in Boston and New York but born and raised in Singapore, Sylvester was at one point Singapore’s #1 ranked tennis player, competing in championships like the Davis Cup and Australian Open. He has also been stationed across the globe for specialized military exercises involving ballistics so he knows his way around both rackets and rockets (bad joke, we know).

      Rumi is a global financial and technology executive with deep experience spanning both traditional industries and emerging technologies.

      She was a long-time executive at Goldman Sachs where she helped establish the firm’s thought leadership arm, the Global Markets Institute.  At the CME Group, she launched and led its venture group where she pioneered investments by large corporates in AI, blockchain and quantum computing.  She remains on the cutting edge of technologies as Partner and Board Member at Outlier Ventures, the leading Web3 accelerator.

      Rumi is a Board Member of the Girl Scouts of the USA, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Chamber of Digital Commerce.  She has lived in seven countries but now resides in the Chicago area where she sometimes moonlights with her band, which is actually called BandChain.

      At Genesis, Josh facilitated a groundbreaking partnership between the company and a leading DeFi credit protocol, underscoring his ability to connect technical intricacies with strategic business opportunities. His unique skill set extends to translating complex protocol engineering into utility and commercial viability. Based in New York, Josh is very humble about winning a curling bonspiel so please ask him about it.

His career to date spans over two decades and has been defined by launching pioneering products and leading businesses at the cutting edge of technology and financial services, as well as spearheading corporate acquisitions/divestments.

      He is a specialist in steering businesses through complex regulatory landscapes across diverse geographies while consistently upholding the highest standards of governance. This includes extensive experience implementing corporate governance, compliance and risk management frameworks while also delivering on commercial objectives.

      As a senior leader at Coinbase driving international expansion and growth, Marcus demonstrated this expertise in building and scaling organizations globally. His strategic acumen paved the way for Coinbase’s successful entry into new markets, fostering trust and compliance in the digital asset ecosystem. In addition to his time at Coinbase, Marcus has also served as Chief Risk Officer at BitMEX and spent a decade in senior legal roles at Morgan Stanley. Based in London, Marcus’ passion outside of work is the pursuit of knowledge in relation to wine, in particular the wines of Burgundy.
